A remarkable architecture

Build in the eighteenth century, the guest house is one of the few traces of timbered houses that survived the petrification. Indeed, throughout the centuries in Belgium, most of these kind of houses have their cob replaced by brick which accelerates the phenomenon of destruction of wood. Today, lovers of traditional architecture are renovating cob constructions, aware of the beauty of this craft and the advantage of  the insulation. The structure of the timber-frame (1782) of the Chapy guest house has been restored and preserved in its original state.

A majestic living room

Renovated with care, paved with large slabs of natural stone and its soft lighting, the living room invites you to sit in the comfortable sofa in front of the wood stove. You can admire the passageway and the majestic ceiling height.

In addition, the Chapy guest house is equipped with under floor heating, a heat pump, a dual flow ventilation, and a Biozendo infrared cabin.

The attached barn has table tennis and a billiard.

You can drop off your bicycles.
